Katy Perrault | Photographer, Filmmaker, and Science Communicator

Hi! I am a photographer, filmmaker, and science communicator! I recently completed a Master's degree at Tulane University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology focusing on visual science communication, with previous study in Art, Environmental Studies, and Digital Media Practices (filmmaking). I am interested in the intersection between environmentalism and art, specifically the ways in which digital media, like photography and documentary filmmaking, can be used to communicate environmental issues and encourage environmental conservation in an intersectional manner. I am also really passionate about science communication and the way that art and science can meet to communicate the amazing research being done in environmental fields.
